Lately it seems the river current has taken over the normally placid waters of the Willamette. Last week it was high flows and happy rowing in the Terrapin. Today Aussie Steve and I got to experience the oar part of sail and oar when the wind was only strong enough to fill the sails, not actually take us back to our launch point. I’m ready to return to Lake Willamette. High flows are for squirt boats!
