I’ve been writing all sorts of articles about boats big and small for ThreeSheetsNW for some years. It’s a popular website for NW boating and a sort of clearinghouse for regional blogs and event information.
I’ve also been a reader of 48N, a regional print magazine focusing on sailing. About a year ago they became part of the NW Maritime Center (same folks who put on the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival).
To make a long story short, the two merged to create a hybrid of print and on-line reporting. One of the cool side effects is that I now have monthly column that you can read either in actual print (if you’re in the NW) or via the flip book online. My first column, about Laser sailing of all things, can be found in the January issue.
